Happy Green Day!
Happy St. Patricks Day! I don't think a lot of people know the true meaning of the holiday: The holiday is in recognition of St. Patrick who spread Christianity in Ireland. So families will usually go to church in the morning and then celebrate in the afternoon. Did you know the first St. Patricks parade was in the US? And did you know that Ireland orderd pubs to close on March 17 for religious reasons up until 1970? But most college students will get drunk anyway - so drink and be merry!
It's been awhile since I last updated this. But we won first place at the Arnold Youth Dance Competition! It was a honor to win against Purdue and Indiana but everyone had a lot of fun! Stephanie and I also did a showcase for the Business School recently so we've been dancing a lot lately. We have another showcase in two weeks. The team still competes at other colleges including Pitsburgh, Northwestern, Ohio, and MIT. We both haven't decided what competiton to go next before the end of the semester.
More stuff to come but it looks like I may be heading to Mackinac Island this summer. I will surely miss Ann Arbor when I do leave but I can always come back to visit. Stay tune folks!
